Frequently Asked Questions

What conditions do you treat?

I treat a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation, dizziness, headaches/migraines, and chronic pain. This is just a short list, so if you have specific questions regarding your ailments and if I can help you, please message or call me.

How many sessions are typically needed for recovery?

The number of sessions needed varies depending on the individual and their condition. I will create a customized treatment plan for you.

Do you accept insurance?

While I do not accept insurance, I strive to create custom care that you need without any red tape from insurance companies.

What should I expect during my first session?

I’ll start with a detailed assessment to understand your history, goals, and movement patterns. From there, I create a customized plan focused on healing efficiently and safely—only doing what you truly need. I provide only the care you need and the first session may include manual therapy and dry needling if indicated.

*Note - Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and allows me to access the treatment area.

Is Dry Needling right for me?

Dry needling can be a great option if you have:

  • Muscle tightness or knots (trigger points)

  • Chronic or acute musculoskeletal pain

  • Movement restrictions due to muscle dysfunction

  • Pain that hasn’t fully responded to other treatments

However, dry needling is not recommended if you have any of the following contraindications:

Contraindications for Dry Needling:

  • Bleeding disorders or are on blood thinners

  • Infection or open wounds near the treatment area

  • Allergy or sensitivity to needles

  • Pregnancy (some areas may be avoided or require caution)

  • Severe needle phobia or anxiety about needles

  • History of seizures or neurological disorders (consult your provider)

  • Presence of pacemakers or other implanted electrical devices (discuss with your therapist)

  • Areas with compromised skin integrity (rashes, ulcers)

Always discuss your full medical history with your therapist before treatment to ensure dry needling is safe and appropriate for you. Your safety and comfort are our top priority!

Do you offer any discounts or referral bonuses?

Absolutely! Refer a friend and you BOTH get $15 off your next session. Healing is better together!

What if I'm unsure what service is right for me?

No worries! Contact me for a quick chat, and I’ll help you pick the best option tailored to your unique situation.

"I had a great experience with Lisa! I went to her for soreness in my upper glutes from running, and her dry needling treatment really helped. She’s knowledgeable, outgoing, and made me feel completely at ease. I felt noticeably better afterward and was very happy with the overall experience. Highly recommend her, especially for runners or anyone dealing with muscle pain."
